Love the convenience of that grow-in-the-bag method. And your greens look perfect for a summer salad.

Fantastic!! I so so soooo encourage everyone to try and grow a bit of their own food. My garden is lush with various lettuces right now!! Great job!

How are you? I really hope you are feeling better and stronger each day. Wonderful to know you are eating healthy and even planting your own vegetables...wonderful! You are often in my thoughts and I often tell my friends about you and your fight with cancer. Take care and God Bless.

Thank you so very much, my dear Mary, for your concern and prayers for me. They REALLY help and I'm so much better now than I was. year ago -- all my tumors have shrunk even further, some have even disappeared and I have my PET scans now only every 6 months whereas before it was every month!! A change in lifestyle starting with an organic diet rich in raw vegetables and little or no animal meat has helped me so much. I will soon be posting about this. Sending you all my love and gratitude.

For those asking about the way I grow my salad greens with very minimal effort, I bought Premium Top Soil from Atwoods (I tried other brands but they did not work as well for me). I laid the bag of soil on the ground and cut two windows. Then I punctured holes in the bag so the roots could go through and the bags would drain when I watered. Don't harvest the whole plants, instead take only the outer leaves of the salad greens so they're as fresh as possible and the plants keep growing through the season. They're unbelievably fresh, crisp and delicious!

Thanks very much for dropping by my blog to let me know of your condition. I am just so thrilled to know that the tumours have shrunk so dramatically. Just SO amazing! God is aways good and I'm really encouraged by your faith in Him, not only in believing in prayers but also acting out your faith through drastic changes in your diet. You are such a living testimony! I would love to hear more about your progress. Will continue to keep you in my prayers. Mary
