What a fun day! A couple of my friends and I went to OSU peach farm to pick peaches. The unripe ones were firm, crunchy and refreshing. Just perfect! The semi-ripe ones were so sweet BUT the ripe peaches were juicy and very sweet --- even sweeter than honey!!! Just amazing!
We had juice dripping all over us as we could not resist sampling the fruits. Ha! ha!
Half a bushel was just $25---we have so many peaches to divide among the three of us. I chose the firm, crunchy peaches for eating. My friends are looking for recipes for all these gorgeous peaches! Care to share your favorite peach recipes?

Pick your own peaches- how fun!!! I have a flat of peaches at my house right now....from Costco, though...not as exciting or fun! I need peach recipes, too!
The scout master at my son's boy scout camp out made this delicious cobbler. It was so good!
2 cans sliced peaches in syrup
2 Tablespoons butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup yellow cake mix
Combine peaches, brown sugar and butter and place in a dutch oven. Spread 1 cup yellow cake mix on top of mixture. Place the lid on and set dutch oven over hot coals. Put hot coals too on top of the lid. Check after 30 minutes to see if the cobbler is ready. You'll enjoy this!
How fun! I love great peaches...and to be able to pick your own would be so fun! I've never done that!
What a neat opportunity for the kids! I live in GA 9peach state!) and my granddaddy have a peach orchard. It was always so much fun to go pick them straight off the vine as a kid.
